Anyway, so we went to The Producers, and it was amazing. I mean, Mel Brooks is a genius. It was a great musical, with hilarious songs, and great performances. Sean Cullen (u've seen him doing the songs on Star TV) was spectacular and the whole cast did an equally astounding show. My personal favourite scene was when Cullen summarized the show in song, and included an intermission piece where he poked fun at the conversations people have during intermissiions with friends or strangers. LOL! The theatre, the Canon (formerly the Pantages theatre) is beautiful and truly a work of art itself. The architecture was incredible and breath taking and matched the occassion of the night. All in all, the night was one that I will hold special in my heart for ever. Not only was I shown incredible generousity, but I was treated to a civilized (and dress-up occassion) night out with my gorgeous girlfriend, who by the way, was smouldering hot in her black dress and hair-do...HUBBA HUBBA!!! The night was decadent and enjoyable. I haven't had one of those in a long time. Thanks again to my girlfriends parents. I am truly in yer debt and will repay you soon. To my girlfriend: Last night was really special for me. I don't think we've had an evening as decadent as the one we had. It was so special and wonderful to see you in yer dress looking all gorgeous, like one of those film stars off the red carpets. I love you. |
